My dear motherVery many thanks for a letter straight from you and one via Robert. They both arrived at the same time.At present I am acting Bde Bombing Officer and I don't like. Being with the Battn is better than anything no matter how cush a job may be. I know nothing about bombs only what I have picked up myself, and I don't wish to be an expert in them.All sorts of things are happening.Your loving son Tom
